This is NOT acceptable! You MUST not allow this person to perform! There are enough talented people who love and support Israel to perform. Supporters of Vancouver Federation: tell Federation you will NOT fund them if they allow this performer! AM Y'ISROEL CHAI!

You need to disinvite this anti-Israel person. What got into you?

Growing up in Vancouver I used to love going on the Walk for Israel and celebrating Israel's independence, it very much contributed to my Zionistic upbringing and desire to make aliya and serve in the IDF. Having a person such as Ms. Nini who is so outspokenly anti-Israel perform at an event that is supposed to celebrate Israel's existence cheapens the event and undermines everything that that day stands for.

To have Achinoam Nini appear at a Yom Hatzmaut celebration would be a shame and an outrage.

Noa supports BDS because the organizations she supports support BDS. Noa is very much anti-Israel and the Jewish Federation is the last organization that should extend an invitation to her to perform on a day that celebrates Israel's creation, which she calls the "Nakba," the disaster. Shame on you!! For shame.

Ms. Nini has no place at a celebration that honours a State she is determined to undermine. If the Vancouver JNF follows through with Ms. Nini's invitation, there will be no more donations from me.

Only people who promote the truth about Isreal should be included in such an important event of Israel's Independence from the Britsh, the Ottomans, the Romans and all who have tried to destroy us!

She should not be allowed to perform. It is not appropriate.

Nini"s intentions may be good, but her ways are anti-zionist.

Completely inappropriate to have an anti-Zionist perform at an Israel Independence Day celebration.

Someone who is against the establishment of Israel is inappropriate for the establishment of Israel.

I'm all for peace as well, unfortunately the Palestinian Authority is far from being capable to transform the Arab hatred of Israel to acceptance for fear of their own lives. If Noa cannot see it & is blinded by liberal attitudes that ignore the reality, she certainly does not deserve to participate in Israel's celebration of its liberty

As soon as I heard of the invite to Nini, I immediately started writing letters to the Van Fed & to all my friends to convince the Fed to disinvite her. I strongly object her coming to Van. She is an active promoter of anti Israel activities. Vancouver, BC

Yom HaAtzmaut should invite only people who take pride in the Jewish State of Israel, not those who seek her demise.

I'm appalled to learn that such an Israel-detractor should be invited to headline an Israel Independence Day event. Where is the moral latitude in this?

The children of Israel are still facing extermination. Shame on you Jewish Federation. Shame on you mainstream Jewish organizations. ‪#‎RabbiStephenWise‬ ‪#‎kapo‬ ‪#‎wolvesinsheepsclothing‬ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5Xjl7nw2vc https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kapo_%28concentration_camp%29 http://www.algemeiner.com/2012/11/04/the-shameful-legacy-of-rabbi-stephen-wise/
