Like many cyclists who ride their bikes to campus, I ride for the benefit of the environment, health, cost, and convenience. Like many students, I was unaware that there were specific places on campus that cycling is prohibited. As I sat in the Bicycle Safety course, taught by a member of the East Bay Bicycling Coalition, I learned that the number of attendees has been increasing over time.
