This is a petition to create awareness of the horrible cruelty whales, Sharks and dolphins are subjected to because of commercial hunting practices by the Japanese, Koreans and other hunting countries. Whales, sharks and dolphins are needlessly slaughtered due to 'so called' scientific research, hunting for 'shark fin' believed to be a delicacy and the slaughter of dolphins in dolphin cove. It has been conclusively proven that whales can be studied without killing them. And cuisine that contains shark fin and dolphin is completely unnecessary.

The way in which these animals are hunted is completely inhumane. Whales are captured by a large harpoon that is shot into their flesh, as they struggle they bleed to death and suffer insurmountable pain. Shark fin hunting is very much the same, the shark is caught, dragged aboard the boat, their fins are then sliced off while they are still alive, then heartlessly chucked back into the ocean still conscious, still alive. Japanese dolphin hunting has become very controversial because of its method. The dolphins are lured into a cove, where they are kept for up to a week with little food, the Japanese hunters then come in and spear the dolphins, their meat sold off.
