No more planes. Quality of life for Londoners in a finite urban area is far more important.

Heathrow is in a far too heavily populated part of London to be suitable for further expansion. Also, it is not an airport which is very pleasant for passengers, having grown in such a piecemeal way. A new hub airport away from heavily populated areas is needed, which which would be far more suited to purpose and be a much better experience for travellers.

Early morning arrivals are already ruining the sleep of my family. Changing the status quo to make things ever worse for us in west London should be stopped. The Conservative Party made it a manefesto promise to stop Heathrow expansion, but I fear they will hide behind the findings of the Davies Commission which is being heavily lobbied by the airlines, BAA etc... Residents do not seem to be given any time in front of this Commission. A new airport east of London was not investigated in any detail at all in the initial report, so you can imagine that is well and truly off the agenda. Ensure that your local Conservative MPs know that they will lose your support if they don't publically fight this.

If an airport were being built now, Heathrow would not be chosen because ti takes planes across a major capital city.

I oppose the expansion of heathrow airport.
I feel we all have a right to sleep undisturbed in our homes at NIGHT and not be awoken by planes.
This is a basic human right and not to be regarded as a favour.
I cannot understand the opposition to a new airport in

Expansion would be stop gap measure at best. Build something fit for purpose and build it far from over crowded West London.

Why not increase the capacity of airports in the North of England? This would bring jobs and business opportunities to more deprived areas - the South Ease does not need more people, more cars or more planes. From someone who has lived both 15 miles from Heathrow and in the North East.

(Continuing)tens of thousands of residents have been let down by this Government which said that RUnway 3 is "dead and buried". They will experience more noise if they live under the flight paths of the third runway if it goes ahead, and there is no real respite proposed by Davies for those living under the route to the existing two runways. At least Davies effectively rules out the concept of a single mega hub, and the estuary airport is all but dead now.

I live under the flight path in Peckham. I wake at 4.30 with the noise of the planes. I dread another runway and night flights.
