Im 35 now and i think it is about time to crack down on internet gambling and to stop gambling advertising for good since the financial conduct authority have taken over the payday lenders hardly anyone can get one now as they do proper checks to see if you can repay your loan on time they should have checks so when you register on a new bingo or betting website you go through a proper backgound check to see if you are a problem gambler or not as i know having joined betting or bingo sites in the past there is hardly any question or checks at all and its far to easy to open one i think gambling advertising should be completly done away with fruit machines banned in pubs as they have done with chiniese takeaways i hope the goverment will do something about it soon as the internet side of gambling is not properly regulated and is far to easy to open a new account with no questions asked i think its time to do away with promoting gambling for good and more programmes showing the true scale of problem gambling and what can happen losing homes losing your family lose your job etc

I have seen and experiences personally the destructive nature gambling has on modern society. You may think you are lining your pockets with the proceeds of Gambling, but in return you are destroying the very existence of modern civilisation.

This targets vulnerable people and the poor. Gambling advertising during football matches in particular targets poor young men as this is their main passion.

I am a recovering compulsive gambler and find it that much harder to stay "clean" with so much constant advertising of casinos, lottery, scratch tickets and now online gambling. As a member of GA, I am sure I speak for the many thousands of members who are trying to beat this terrible and life altering addiction that the advertising must stop or at the very least be limited in some way.

I am a recovering gambler and think it is totally wrong that during every ad break there are adverts on television encouraging people to gamble. It must be banned!

I dont know why the government has banned this like cigarette manufacturers. Its just as harmful if not worse. The fact they can air these ads on day time shows when children are watching is totally wrong.

Gambling addiction is a pernicious problem that destroys individuals and families. Gambling should be made more difficult rather than easier with no advertising, no gambling apps or online play and fewer shops. It can be a terrible cycle, almost impossible to crack.

There should be no gambling ads. There is at least one ad. every break on tv. I or my family members do not have a gambling problem but there are people that do. There should be no ads for gambling.
