We respectfully ask the organizers of Elkton Pride Day to cancel this event which is scheduled for October 9th, 2011. This event, which is sponsored by Merck Rainbow Association and MillerCoors and promoted by Shenandoah Valley Gay and Lesbian Association, is extremely offensive to many in the local community and we ask that you voluntarily cancel this event.
