We condemn the occupation of lecture theatres in the Hicks Building which has been organised by a small and unrepresentative minority. Disrupting the academic work of Sheffield students does nothing to help the cause of peace in the Middle East and justice for the people of Palestine, instead it merely distracts from the issue. We urge that those responsible end their action immediately so that students can return to their studies in a free and safe environment.
