I have been hearing from so many of you who are just as tired as I am of seeing our home turned into a caricature for entertainment. The network remains silent but they cannot ignore the fact that we refuse to let them define who we are.

Seeing this groundswell of support proves that our neighbors are no longer willing to accept these harmful stereotypes about our home. This momentum shows that the network underestimated our pride and our refusal to let them profit from our struggle.

real talk nobody asked for this show. stop using my city for cheap drama.
Detroit gets enough bad press as it is. We dont need ABC making it worse for ratings. Enough is enough.
