we won and the planning commission rejected the cvs proposal until real safety changes are made. thank you for sticking with this because we were definitely heard. now we just need to keep a close eye on their next move to make sure they actually follow through.

We, the parents of the more than 1000 students who attend le Lycée Francais de San Francisco, faculty and staff have serious concerns about the proposed development on the corner of 19th Avenue and Ortega Street. Our school, which serves middle school and high school students with ages ranging from 10 to 18 years old, is directly across the street from the proposed development.

We do not believe that the developer has taken into consideration the pedestrian safety of our children. For this reason, we ask that the San Francisco Planning Commission delay action on this development until the developer has addressed our safety concerns.

Specifically, we would like the developer to conduct a traffic study and meet with parents to lay out a plan for the pedestrian safety of the nearly 400 students who attend school directly across 19th Avenue from this development.

As public servants, you have many great responsibilities, but there is no greater responsibility than ensuring the safety of children. Please make sure that you do everything you can to keep this a safe place for our children to learn.

Respectfully,

-----------------------

i honestly cant believe how much this has taken off. seeing so many people look out for our kids safety makes me feel a lot less worried about this intersection.

Ridiculous idea. The traffic is bad enough as it is. Fix the safety plan before letting them break ground.

We dont need another cvs. there is one like 5 blocks away. keep the kids safe first.

Think about the students. 19th is way too busy for more foot traffic in that spot.

19th Ave is already a death trap. putting a pharmacy there is gonna make it way worse for the kids crossing.
