The previous Mello Roos was handled horribly and at the detriment of Mission Viejo residents. It took a legal threat to reverse the scam. No more. Ever.

We cannot trust CUSD to manage money properly. They did not spend Measure A appropriately. We in Mission Viejo were the BIG LOSERS, having represented 30% of the total district dollars collected from taxpayers, MV only received less than 10% of funds to improve our MV schools.

CUSD literally sits in state of the art buildings while our kids are taught in temporary structures that are decades old. You have the money, but haven't yet shown the taxpayers you know how to use it properly. You shouldn't get more.

We've paid Mello Roos for almost 20 years to pay for schools and yet the schools don't receive hardly anything, where's those multi millions for school infrastructure gone? To build the luxurious capo district office we know that, and what else? Haven't seen any MRoos money in Capo public schools which money literally could have built and repaired so much already. Shame shame shame.

I completely oppose this triple taxation going forward. Everything that was proposed to be covered in the Talega Mello-Roos taxes has already been built. No more!

My wife andI have paid Mello-Roos for 25 years. It time for the non-Mello-Roos communities and RMV to pay their fair share. Carve out all the current Mello-Roos areas since they have paid more than their fair share for many years.

San Clemente is always on the short end of the stick. Overcrowded, and falling apart ...we need another high school desperately.
