We are already taxed to death in this state. Enough is enough. Don't know if you caught this the other day but CA residents paid an extra $10 billion for gas last year. The state is a mess!

I agree that CUSD schools need money. Wouldn't it be nice if we could get what we need from the State of CA? But since that's not an option right now, I think SFID is a better option. These are the areas that will benefit from higher home values once their schools are improved, so it makes sense to me that they should be the ones to pay the taxes to fund the improvements.

No bond should ever be approved without knowing the details of how the money will be used.

No more property taxes until we are done paying our Mello Roos, which should've been over years ago!

CUSD wastes so much money it is ridiculous! Until they can show over time that they will be wise with the tax money they are given, no more should be given!

I/we in Ladera ranch already contribut to our school through bonds. I feel the other communties need to support the schools they are aligned with.

I am really against triple taxation. Why cannot the board manage their existing budget. Maybe there is to many people on the payroll.

CUSD Trustees have not earned the trust of residents when it comes to fulfilling promises. Measure A money was diverted from maintenance/repair to the general fund and used for salaries; Measure A required an oversight committee which was disbanded by CUSD just before they began to spend the bond money. Finally when you consider debt service to the bond, this will cost our property owners in the District over $2,000,000,000.00 when it is done.

Once the bonds are in place, it seems like they keep getting refinanced and extending the obligation beyond the original term. Please no more taxes.

It sounds like the SFID was specifically put in place to address school facility improvements. The SFID at least requires justification for the spend and has some control through the process of attaining the funds. Why write a blank check for $889M?
