The social workers that I have worked with have all cared about themselves. They have twisted things that have been said to sound different, so that things sounded worse than they were. I have not been able to see my children for months, and I have missed their childhood for the last couple of years. I am a good mom, and I have protected them with everything that I have. I miss my babies so much and I can not imagine how much they are hurting as well.

While I can agree that their are corrupt social workers and police, I cannot and will not sign this petition knowing that there are still great social workers out there that care, and that want to help the families. I know for a fact that they DON'T want to take children away. They do it when they absolutely have to. The unforeseeable events that have happened lately are not due to corrupt social workers. It's because social workers are overworked and underpaid. They don't get the time off they need to recoop. They are always worrying about families and how they could have helped more, or if there was something that could have been done different! Everyone needs to stop jumping to conclusions about stuff. Know the facts before you start bashing community resources that are only there to help! P.S. I am in school to become a social worker. I have four children of my own and I do not think DCF and their social workers and employees are all horrible.

I know someone this happened to. They did everything that was required and the judge ordered dcf to return the child but that judge was retiring so before everything was done there was a new judge and dcf made up lies and somehow got away with going against judges orders. Whats worse is the woman from dcf adopted the child out to personal friends of hers. This happened in Newport, Vt.

I have been dealing with these people for over a year now! They are the worst/evil people i have met. They Stole my kids away cause there father passed away, and we didn't have a place of our own me and my fiancee. We did everything they asked, and they were going to give my kids back... They took away my rights to my kids last month (but i put in appeal and rote the governor), over a few parenting skills!! that dcf lacked to say hey you need some parenting classes. But i took care of my kids for 12 yrs!! before all this. They lie, they brain wash your children.. It's got to stop!

dcf stolle my daughter the state of vermont said they can't keep her in brattabra retreat so dcf has ny smart buitiful almost 17 year old drugged and tested on a low i q drugged uo so much all she wants to do is sleep yet she has not been sence by a real doctor in the 5 months that shes been lock up my lawyers tells me to keep my mouth shut and ust let them do what they want they are going to end up killing my strong willed homeschooled child no one will help me

Dcf and the lawyers that we are given if we cant afford one are all working together to make us good parents lose are kids. I was even told that because my son was cute he was very desirable for adopt. I Would love to help in anyway I can to make sure what happened to me and my son doesn't happen to someone else.

Ive been dealing with these people since 2011 Brattlelboro NEEDS to be investigated by the fbi and us officials as well my stories 3yrs old lets ruffle some feathers these people need to be held accountable for there wrong doings a lawyer will LOVE my story im not done as long as my grandaughter is a stitistic

friend falsely accused,,accuser drop her case,vt dcf felt my friend guilty.friend not able to see 5 of their kids,but able to see 2 of another home.dcf has NOTHING on my friend.it was total lie..

Its the parents that are actually trying that lose thier kids but they let crack dealer parents keep thier children... how is that right?!

I am just appalled by the way Vermont DCF is handling a case involving a child that is being abused by his father. I sure hope that something is done before that little boy makes national news!
