I am for growth in Nolensville. I understand it is happening and will happen. However, I am very disappointed town leadership involved doesn't do what is better for Nolensville in this case. I can't imagine city leaders in Franklin working together to put a carwash in the downtown Franklin square. I am disappointed it is happening here.

Not the right place for a car wash. We need much better traffic management now and this would make it worse.

I agree, we don't want a car wash in the center of town. I use Oldham many times a day. The traffic and eye sore should be in another area.

I don't hang my laundry in the front of my house so why do you want a car wash near the entrance to our homes.

As a neighbor directly affected by this addition, I’m sad that I’ve just learned about it from yard signs! Unfortunately, seems like a done deal at this point. Agree with others that until the traffic concerns are addressed, any addition to this area is unwanted and unsupported.

This is only being approved because of political connections and the traffic issues are bad enough! Solve the traffic issues and get a full time fire department

I attended the Planning Commission meeting where many residents voiced opposition and one Member of the Commission, Rick Owens, gave valid reasons for opposing the car wash location, he was the only no vote. This was "greased to pass". A car wash 15 feet from Oldham Drive. Should have been 60 feet but the Zoning Appeals Board in March approved a variance for a 15 foot setback. Who chaired the March meeting? Why is the Vice Mayor so adamant about putting a car wash on a major entrance to the Greystone and McFarlin subdivisions. They are not listening to the citizens who incorporated this Town in 1996. Watch who you vote for in the November Town election.
