1. The US Department of Education (DOE) should stop capitalizing student loan interst into the student loan principal; (and/or) 

2.  Offer very low rate interest loans (1-3%) at simply interest only; (and/or)

3.  Expand their loan forgiveness program to include more medical issues and more vocations; (and/or)

4.  Declare a moritorium on current student loan capitalization of interest; (and/or)

5.  Retroactively adjust previously capitalized student loans to reflect simple interest balances.
