St Mary Abbotts church on Kensington Church Street has permission from the council to sound their bells for the following periods: Sunday 8:45am - 9:30am Sunday 5:30pm - 6:30pm Thursday 7:45pm - 9:30pm. As busy working professional residents the decibel level, antisocial hour and duration of noise are incompatible with modern peaceful living. We, the undersigned residents, petition the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and St Mary Abbotts Church to stop the Sunday morning noise intrusion and limit all other intrusions to 30 minutes.
