Stop this madness, fan fiction has helped young people expand their imaginations and connect with others, so have fandom's, edits, etc. Just don't take this away from us. I'm a suicidal teen that connects with other people through fandom's and fanfictions, they've helped me through my depression so please #StopSOSA

Look. It's not "anime's" fault. anime is not the one driving the people to suicide. Just like for any other TV show, there is overdramatic fans going to HUGE levels and unnecessary levels with their..sadness, that a FICTIONAL CARTOON CHARACTER had died. If a person ends their life over the death of someone that had potentially no effect over there real life, then that person is UNSTABLE. It's the person being overdramatic, not the anime. Although; animes can be triggering, for people with certain mental disorders, as can other genres of tv show, such as PLL, walking dead, ECT. But nobody seems to be banning them? So what's the deal with anime!? It's the VIEWERS JOB to make sure that you look at the description and watch the anime that is right for you. Why would someone with blood as a trigger watch Tokyo goul? Try ouran highschool host club instead. It is not the anime, it is their unstable viewers. This is for the anime rumour about sopa stopping anime. This isn't acceptable, and it's stupid.

I love my fan fiction fan art and overall fangirl particapation its my right to enjoy a book or movie and share about it. Its my right to draw fan art! Its my right to write fanfiction! Is my right to have an acount devoted to what i love! WHERE DOES IT SAY I CANT! SOPA MUST BE STOPED! ITS TAKING AWAY MY RIGHTS!

SOPA and PIPA have way too large potential of being abused in morally deplorable ways, suxh as censorship etc. I thought your american constitution was to protect freedom of speech and thought? With these acts you are moving in the same direction as the far east, where websites suck as youtube are blocked nationwide in several countries... So much for the american government "protecting the free world"... Thank god I live in a liberal country such as Sweden, instead of a neofascist state. (That statement was over the top, but it's where you are heading.)

Don't take fanfic away!!! We use Disclaimers anyhow, so we actively advocate that we do not own the basis of which stories are written, aka prewritten tv shows, movies, books, etc.
