I'm too young to use my real name, but I'm clearly a fangirl. YOU CAN'T TAKE AWAY ONLINE FANGIRLING in forms such as fanfics, fanpages, edits, ect. Make a law against copying material and commercially distributing or selling it, not innocent fanfics for the personal enjoyment of fans. We are fangirls. We are everywhere. And we WILL stop this, even if we all get arrested. THIS WILL NOT PASS.

FanFictions are really the only happiness I have in my life right now. If those get taken away from me just because they 'could be' a few threat. I don't know what I would do. i wouldn't be able to live without them. They let me vent my emotions, they let me express my feelings through stories and through debates with other people who like the same things I do. I will be FURIOUS if this bill is passed. I need fanfictions to progress my education to what I think it could and will be. It is helping us be more creative its helping us learn more about writing. It could seriously help us with school or even a job. By passing this bill they are taking away our creativity, our passion. Our love for learning that we already have will be gone if they pass it. I know there are many other people out there that think this bill is crazy. I think that passing these ridiculous bills, by taking away our love for writing, and learning it will only make the world a worse place. The world is growing, differently than in the past generations, we learn differently that you did. By experiencing, and writing our own stories and essays it helps us on a whole nother level than what you think. This is 2015, the world has drastically changed since my parents and grandparents were in school. Everything changes. Nothing can stay the same throughout time as it is exposed to new technology, new people. You will just have to let us be. Let us learn, let us write in our own way. The way we've chosen to do that is through creative writing. We are the generation that will have to live in the world we create. Let us make or own choices and we will deal with the consequences.

This is incredibly stupid I can't belive that the government would waste their time with banning fan fiction! It is a fun way to express yourself.

Like another's person said, fanfiction, fanart, etc is a way to express oneself and it's free advertising for the books/movies/show/game. I don't understand why some spoil-sports want to ruin everyone's harmless fun.
Now, piracy is bad. Piracy is if someone posts a copy-righted full movie online for free.
Drawing a book character is not piracy, and making a fanfiction isn't either.
Even if it was, it's hurting no one.
