I think this is a complete farce. I understand the logic, but honestly when it effects innocent (more or less) people, such as fandoms, from harmless things such as fan fiction, fan art and etc. then you know something is clearly wrong. I hate piracy but this is not the way forward.

Piracy on the Internet is plainly wrong but penalties for it are going to be to harsh and are never going to be realistic. There is always going to be piracy in one form or another.
