In Canada the law is not as strict as we need it to be when it comes to sexual predators. Where we need to see changes in Canada is

• Longer, harsher penalties on sexual offenses

• Tracking devices for those who have sexually assaulted a minor.

•Tracking devices for those who have raped an individual

•Tracking devices for those who have committed 2 or more sexual offenses.

• All provinces should inforce the same penalty so there is

no leniency in penalties.

• An online sexual offenders database that Canadians can access

As a parent and as a Canadian citizen I think it's unfair that I could be exposing my child on a daily basis to a child predator and not know it. Children are being abducted, raped and killed because Canada is so lenient in its penalties. The charter of rights and freedoms gave us rights to protect us, so if someone breaks the law and commits a serious offense why should they be protected? Shouldn't the public be protected? Our children? We need to change the way sexual predators are viewed and dealt with in Canada. They need to be stopped permanently not everytime they are caught. Please sign this petition If you agree that we need to make some adjustments to the way sexual offenders/predators are dealt with in Canada.

You will be asked to donate you DONT need to donate so please continue. At the end when you reach the confirmation donation page the petition is complete :) close the page

Reaching one hundred signatures feels like a heavy weight pressing back against the apathy we have faced. It is exhausting to keep pushing when the system feels designed to ignore us but knowing others see this danger keeps me going.

Early, early childhood education is necessary as well. Knowledge is power. Stop it before it starts. Predators need to be penalised severely. The public needs to know who the perpetrators are.

Should be life in prison for hurting kids. No second chances. They just reoffend anyway.

GPS tracking is a must. If they cant be trusted dont let them roam free like nothing happened.

Justice system is a joke here. My neighbor was convicted and he was back home in less than 2 years. My kids dont even play outside anymore.
