We would like to stop the sale of tattoo equipment to illegal tattooists. In most states it is illegal to tattoo outside of a licensed studio. There have been over 500 reported cases of hepatitis, 225 reported cases of HIV, and 1400+ reported cases of MRSA, 4 causing death, in the State of Michigan alone. All of this caused by illegal tattooing. We would like to require that all tattoo supply companies including eBay require verification that the purchaser is a licensed legitimate tattoo artist before making a purchase with their company.
