Stop Birmingham City Council Cuts
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL PLANS TO ADOPT HUGE CUTS TO ITS PUBLIC SERVICES ON TUESDAY MARCH 1ST. For example, major cuts in funding for elderly frail people - such that only those with critical conditions will receive help. 900 employees in child services will be axed, making the protection of children from abuse and violence even more difficult in an area where Birmingham has already had problems. THEREFORE, WE THE UNDERSIGNED, CALL ON ALL CITY COUNCILLORS TO VOTE AGAINST THE MASSIVE CUTS BUDGET PLANNED FOR BIRMINGHAM PUBLIC SERVICES ON TUESDAY MARCH 1ST.
