Stop this ridiculous standard! Important key players in the testing area have not been involved in the development and it is too strict and focussed on specific industrie. NO!

There is no one size fits all approach to testing and essentially we as testers are vehicles for improved quality of process and product through the right approach for our client. Giving platforms to companies to blindly follow standards that do not encompass the freedom of the tester to help deliver the highest quality process and product through the best possible methodology is lunacy. Strongly oppose.

My sincere apologies for not realizing that I had not signed the petition yet, while I was still campaigning against it. I and few of my team members who believe in testing as a cognitive process have signed the petition now.

This standard should be free, so that ALL test professionals can consume and have input on this industry "standard" that can be used with "any" software development

I can't improve on Cem Kaner's comments. I get uneasy when a group outlines it's ideas as 'schemes'. Schemes sound inherently untrustworthy to me.
