Small farmers struggle to hang on to their family farms and large farmers feed the world. It requires land…..a lot it. We belong to Norwich Township. Leave us alone. The Stage Road is a historical road with families whom have lived here for generations. We stay here for the peace and quiet and beauty. Woodstock needs to stop trying to be a big city, but more importantly stop forcing us in it. We don’t want to live there.

I do understand that Woodstock need land to grow but this land falls into the Norwich township area so the tax income is that the real reason behind this.

Farmers feed cities! Don’t take away our precious land…once it’s gone, it’s gone.
we need to keep land in our township and not use prime farmland for industrial expansion.
Keep farmland for farming, not housing.
Ontario no longer has enough farmland to feed its population. Destroying more farmland should be a criminal offence.
