Woodhaven campers since 1971. We own 4 lots. We do not support a special assessment fee. Money for the bait shop improvements need to be reallocated for "needs" not "wants". In addition, priority should be to clean the lakes. Lake maintenance appears to be neglected and an embarassment.

I agree that a special assessment would not be a good idea right now if it can be avoided in any way. There are too many owners who are very financially strapped right now with the costs of cleanup and replacement of their campers on their lots. They would never have the funds available to pay for a special assessment. I agree that the bait shop could probably be put off for now. I don't believe there is an immediate need for replacement. Just so everyone knows, the Board members do not get paid. They volunteer their time. They are only reimbursed for their gas mileage to and from the meetings. None of the committee members are paid for their time either. Only Woodhaven employees are paid. Everyone else volunteers, just like so many of you are doing right now to help their neighbors and the Woodhaven community recover from this terrible catastrophe.

I think we need to have a "AUDIT" done to see where is all the money going to. Hire a lawyer "our chosing" and check out exactly where it is all being spent!!!! Maybe our board needs to be addressed in this or who "is in charge". We need to find out how to change the "person" in charge and replace her with someone who cares!!!!

If that's true, maybe the board should also take a pay cut then. There is plenty of money that can be used, maybe we should think about having a "AUDIT" on where all the money is going....think about how much they collect from the dues...
