It’s must be closed for public access . Put some fence and put some plants on empty area so people at least don’t go there and swim. Put some bigger sign. Put it on river website and aware people more.

Windsor Beach Hawkesbury is rated 4.4. Can I ask someone WHY & HOW???? I lost my Sunshine, my brother on this Christmas Day. He drowned on this popular river with a notorious history because we didn’t knew the river has strong underwater currents. When my brother went in the water, he was so unfortunate on that day, he entered in water where there was no ground and we only found this after he drowned. We have lost our loved one but don’t want someone else to go through the same pain. It was very easy for police to tell us that at least one person drowns here every month but still this beach is open because it’s a public picnic place, “Isn’t it a shame” which for us is unbelievable and absolutely shocking. Though we are deeply grieving but doesn’t want your loved one to loss their life. We want to pay tribute to my Brother buy raising awareness and implementing all the caution signs that are readable so no one else has to grieve like us.
