The lack of a charter vessel during at least commuter times, is disgusting . It puts an hour on to my daily commute.

Is this the way to treat loyal customers paying £1800 per year into Wightlink's bank account? 18.05 on 16 Jan @ Portsmouth, queue was onto the train platform. Many did not get on the 18.15 with just the prospect of a 1 hour wait until the next ferry. Where was the management? Apparently they had already gone home which is somewhere that their customers would like to be.

Look after your customers; it’s the first rule of business. Without the customer- there is no business. Come on wightlink, do the right thing

Totally unacceptable to not put a replacement service in place.

Yes, certainly something drastic needs to be done. Wightlink are taking the islanders for fools and laughing all the way to the Bank

Stop this right now, they cant charge extortionate fares, then not provide the service, how are they getting away with this

As the government are pushing for improvement to regional connectivity Wightlink should be forced to keep its services consistent. I hope Bob Seely has been engaged in this.

This is a really important petition. Wightlink have a responsibility to provide a service. This change in service means I will hardly see my children for more that six weeks because I have to leave earlier for work and get home later.

The decision to remove the replacement vessels was clearly a financial decision, all the times I used them I was unaware of any dissatisfaction from fellow commuters. The extra hours, added to an already intense day, has potentially significant affects on the mental health of the customers!

This change costs a lot of people time and money as well as loads of family time. Wightlink should ensure extra services are provided during these routine works, after all, they are scheduled on an annual basis.

It’s very poor show again by Wightlink to provide no alternative transport
