Water. Basically the most important thing for our bodies. Something we waste oftenly. How much water do New Zealanders use a day on average? Well, the average New Zealander uses 227 litres a day. Approximately 40% of water used everyday is in the toilet. Crazy right? 68 litres are used on bathing and hygiene, 36 litres are used in the laundry and 32 litres are used in the kitchen. Additionally, 5 litres are used for housekeeping. Guess how much water Americans drink? Well, Americans consume around 3.9 trillions gallons of water a month. A LOT OF WATER. Easy ways to save water are turning off the tap when brushing your teeth, having 5 minute showers, steaming your vegetables and saving your dirty clothing up!
