After seeing yet anther video about the death of a dog at the hands of police I want the government to take action by creating laws to protect pets,change polices of first respondents, provide them with training and tools to safely subdue and contain animals not shoot and kill them.Also consequences for authorities that skip nonlethal means and go strait to firearms.It is part of a dogs nature to protect themselves and their loved ones when they feel threatened or afraid,why kill them for behavior they can not help.A dog does not know the difference between an arrest and an abduction or a legally executed search warrant or a home invasion .If you need proof of violence against animals by authorities go to youtube search "police kill dog" there are so many videos it is heartbreaking , videos and news stories like a 5 pound dog shot 3 times while on his porch, or a mans best friend killed right in front of him at his home within less than a minute of police arriving,even the death of a service dog because of a mistake with an address,or in front of children who love them , worse yet for me is on all these videos there is not even one instance where authorities have shoot a dog then tried to provide the dog with medical treatment
