We need quality and not quantity: Net/Set candidatea are cream for teaching a quality level at Higher education. Request to hon'ble governer, please direct the psc for recruitmeng of said posts as per sro124 and ugc guidlines upheld by supremd court order.

We appeal His Excellency,Honourable Governor of jandk not to allow any one to meddle in d affairs of the autonomous JKPSC..Plz abide by d rules set by ugc and upheld by high court and supreme court from time to time...No unnecessary and uncalled for interference plz....

Jkpsc is the nodal body to recruit the deserving people to different posts.So far as higher education is concerned, it is bind to follow the regulations set by ugc and when such regulations have supreme Court's backing then there happens to be no reason to defy the same. Universities are supposed to invest their energies in producing quality scholars. Meddling in the affairs of recruiting agencies and as such necessitating delays makes one smell rat. So all higher authorities are requested not to believe us, not to listen us. We have our interested involved here. But respect the apex judicial body of this country .You can't just overlook what it deemed best to streamline and overhaul the ailing higher education system of the country .

Ugc guidelines and supreme court ruling be followed in letter and spirit.

Such actions on part of prestigious institutions are offensive,causing hurt and have been condemned as unethical and even immoral. Unethical may not be illegal for them. Betrayal,hurtful conduct,wrong-doing,nepotism may not violate the code of ethics for such people. But ethics are far broader than law. In real life,situations come up that just don't fit neatly into the existing formulas.It is necessary to use a variety of ethical appraoches to solve certain problems.

Petition signed and I request to the authorities to implement the ugc rules and regulations for recruitment of assistant professors in higher education.

To me, every new law/ regulation is based on the lacunas and drawbacks of previous one. Similar is the case with UGC MSP 2009. It is purely meant for selection of cream deserving candidates for our higher education institutions. NET/ SET are considred as highest level of screening in any subject in India. While I am not downgrading PdD anyway, but most of the PhD students know themselves how the research is going on in India. They can themself see a wide difference between PhD and NET. Rest, wish deserving candidates be selected at the earliest.

UGC guidelines should strictly be followed.

NET/SLET and PHD(as per UGC-2009 Regulations) stand eligible.This is UGC(an Apex Institution) standard set and was upheld by the Supreme Court of India even. More particularly, JKPSC has interviewed 3 subjects so far and selection list is almost ready to be issued but blue eyed bodies like KU and JU Authorities have created fuss at the end stage.. I oppose this very step taken by them and want Governor not to give nod PSC to entertain those who don't fulfil basic criteria set by UGC.
