Gov. Scott has backed a 92% e-cigarette tax and the House has already passed it. This tax will be charged on all juice and vape accessories, this bill is so ridiculous that it will impose the 92% tax on e-juice containing NO NICOTINE. The volume of support has secured us a meeting with key members of the Senate committee for next week. I am currently finalizing the formal brief that presents our arguments against the ninety-two percent tax on non-nicotine products.

Because of vape product I was able to get people that were smoking 2 packs a day down to half a JUUL pod. This tax will force them back to a very unhealthy lifestyle and is unwanted by many
How about instead of doubling the price of legal buyers you make the sellers do their jobs and check IDs. This is clearly just another scheme for Vermont to take more money in Taxes in an already failing state.
This is just an overall poorly written bill and adults should have the freedom to choose if they wish to vape or not. There are much safer products and technologies emerging in this field, and I feel the legislators propositioning this are ill-informed and acting with prejudice. The people do not want this!
