Whereas nicotine is highly addicting, often leading to a lifetime addiction, and this drug has been shown to be harmful to developing adolescent and young adult brains, and
Whereas vaping THC and other substances using refillable cartridges and e cigarettes has led to a secondary epidemic of hundreds of reported vaping related lung illnesses, causing respiratory failure and death;
The undersigned call for the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors to institute an immediate ban within Santa Barbara County, of e-cigarettes, vaping devices and the cartridges used with those devices.

Why can't parents prevent their kids from getting vapes? Moronic thoughts and comments like yours are what's making it difficult for people like me who are trying to use a vape to quit smoking cigarettes. You should just strive to be a better parent and you might not have this issue. cheers!
Should I start smoking cigarettes again then? Which one do you think is better? Maybe if you're not a vaper.... than you're a parent who couldn't control their kid? I don't know just a guess but you are definitely ruining it for honest people who want to vape to quit smoking.
You said it! ...absolutely the same reason I came on here. I can tell you right now that I feel way better by quitting cigarets using a vape then when I was smoking cigarets. Now what the hell does that tell everybody?! Why don't all you anti vapors turn your attention on more important things. I'm a full grown man trying to quit smoking and now I can't get fruity flavored vape stuff. Bad parenting of out of control kids is ruining vaping for honest people trying to quit cigarettes. Do you really think that's gonna solve the problem?? Making it harder to find decent flavors?! this is so ridiculous
MUCH tighter regulations are needed on vaping manufacturers. They target children and mislead them into thinking this is some kind of cool and SAFE way to dip your toe into getting high without any REAL consequences! It is the most egregious deception , targeting adolescents.
This is a very serious health issue. As a lung doctor I recommend that vaping be outlawed period.

only reason im signing this is to post my DISAPPROVAL of a ban because vaping is MEDICALLY PROVEN to have MUCH less toxins than regular tobacco products. The problem is not vaping, its being LAZY PARENTS !! In other words, you cant control your kids, so you get the government to do it for you. Or you are just pushing your love of soviet culture.
