Vaping helped me quit smoking. Why should we ban it ? On what grounds are we banning it? Regulate it and tax it. Allow only eliquids with lab certified reports. Ban eliquids having packaging atttractive to children. Make it TPD compliant same as in EU.
Are we associating eliquids with Tobacco products? There is no link between them. Tobacco and nicotine are two different things. Why nicorette are legal then?
NHS are promoting ecigarette as a safer way to cigarettes. Eliquids have only Vegetable Glycerin, Propelyne Glycol, flavors and sweetners. Nicotine is optional.
How the govt intend to drive this legislation in the tourist industry? Do we tell the Us or French vapers coming to our country to leave his ecigs at the airport and take it back when he returns to his country?
Come on guys who are drafting the legislation if ever to be banned. Don't just implement a ban just because you haven't been able to throughly consult all parties specially vaping community here.

Govt is earning less on Cigarette Tax as a large number of people have move on to vaping.so they are trying to banned vaping for the vapers to move on cigarette again.

Vaping helped me to stop smoking. All countries in the UN, USA and Austrila did not ban vaping why should Mauritius do that if not because pr pressures from the tobacco lobby?

Why ban e-cigs. When it is so clear and obvious that it is not harmful and helping people to quit smoking. We are a country who instead of moving ahead is going backwards. it's high time we start following leading researches and follow countries such as the UK who's promoting ecigs to help people. YES regulate ecigs but do NOT ban it. if you have to ban something ban cigarettes once and for all.
