It's a disgrace that the this pool will close. It is the only pool in Port Talbot to offer swimming lessons. Children need to learn this life skill. Spend less on unnecessary road alterations for the supposedly temporary M4 J41 closure and more on public services!

This pool is wonderful and beautiful. I travel more than 3 miles in my car to visit this lovely pool even when I have a pool two streets away from me. It's so much better than most I've been to- lovely atmosphere, well kept, friendly staff, they don't let the kids muck about too much. To lose any of it would be a same.

the chief medical officer for wales says we should all follow the three aspects of healthy living. how can we achieve the reasonable level of exercise when these facilities are being taken from us by local authorities.

doesnt make logical sense to close down a well used facillity ,i feel the same about the proposed closures of 5 community centers ,if cuts are to be made start with the mayors ball !

Cymmer has had a community swimming pool since 1938 so do not take this away from an already deprived area there are so many using this facility who would not be able to travel to Neath or Port Talbot due to health reasons or poor transport schools would not be able to afford transport cost for pupils to learn essential life saving skills. Why don't the council close Dyfed road pool it is easier for people & pupils to travel to Port Talbot than it is from the valley

As long as I can remember there has been a pool. As a child I used it regularly and would like this generation to enjoy the benefits of swimming without having to go miles out of their way. The upper afan valley does not have many facilities and to deprive them of the pool in my mind is criminal. A concerned pensioner.
