I live in Santa Clarita and I frequent Bridgeport regularly with my family and dog. Occupational hazard is enough of a concern for me to not use glyphosate. The WHO's International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) working group's 2015 decision to classify glyphosate as a grade 2A probable human carcinogen followed an extensive review and evaluation of the weight of all available evidence. Some products containing glyphosate may be toxic because of the other ingredients in them. Glyphosate may affect fish and wildlife indirectly because killing the plants alters the animals' habitat. Glyphosate can remain in soil for decades. How does this affect the human gut? How about the animals that make their home in Bridgeport. Life adapts quicker than the science and the science can only counter with more toxicity. Which is why herbicides are not sustainable. We need to feel obligated to protect the future generations that will inherit Earth from the damage stemming from short-term results. Chemicals mixing together can create chemical reactions. The truth is that herbicides are toxic and they do end up in our water supply contributing to increasing toxicity of our drinking water (along with a slew of other chemical companies). Chemicals mixing together can create unexpected reactions. It is simply just being prudent to minimize these risks at all costs. Especially considering how long it takes for science to establish the actual effect. They also ghost wrote their own academic papers, not cool Monsanto. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-08-09/monsanto-was-its-own-ghostwriter-for-some-safety-reviews

We have a barn owl living in the tree in front of our homes. Stop poisoning all of our children and animals in our area.

My children attend Bridgrport Elementary School and walk near and through the neighborhood where this will be sprayed. I am very concerned that Saugus Union School Distruct would allow this in such close proximity to hundreds of vulnerable children.

I appreciate you creating this well done petition. I created and presented the letter many people signed a few months back that prompted the recent response letter from the board. I was preparing a response but you beat me to it. I am available to help in any way.

Stop the Roundup! Listen to residents! Respect resident's voice! Protect my, your, our children! What is the good reason the Roundup to be continued when the residents don't want to?

The Bridgeport residents have brought this issue up several times, and obviously the board has chosen to ignore our concerns.!!?!

It’s irresponsible to continue the use knowing it causes cancer. The HOA needs to listen. To its community residents or a protest will occur. Thank you.
