This year and every year I pay to have a general parking pass! Yet, I also show up 45 minutes before my class begins to ensure that I will get a parking spot and on so many days I cannot find a spot to park and I am usually late to class. I always see open places in general parking that students could logically park but UTC will ticket you for not parking In front of a concrete block. Which is not specifically noted that if you park there you will get a ticket. It looks just like the rest of the parking lot! I become so frustrated about parking because my education is WAY more important then spending time looking for a parking spot. I have missed 2 whole classes on different days when trying to find a spot and avoid becoming ticketed. I try so hard not to get a ticket because I am a college student with no financial help. EVERY penny matters!

With all the money they have made from parking tickets they could have made like 10 multistory parking garages. Seriously UTC figure it out. You are known as a commuter school. You don't have enough housing for upper class an to live on campus, forcing them to live off campus don't think about you numbers for new students. Think about the students you have that have been loyal to you that don't get to see a dime of where there money is going. Seriously, get it together. You have areal problem with parking, not just to student but your own faculty.

I'm a 5th year senior. I feel like I have paid my dues. I have been the good student and bought a parking pass and yet it still doesn't matter bc I can't park in the lot anyways and I still get tickets. This is ridiculous! Fix it UTC!

A business will reimburse their employees parking expenses but the college student gets another fee! Stop UTC parking fees.

I would like to see there actually be spots for the amount of money we pay. I understand parking authorities need some operational funds. But not near the amount they get from us, especially from tickets.

You force upper clansmen off campus to accommodate Freshman so that they're closer to campus, but don't offer parking yeah that make sense. Way to go UTC, Not

I bought a parking pass at the beginning of the semester and I haven't been able to park in a lot yet! I agree that if I am paying this much I should have a guaranteed spot.

Please stop over charging students for parking. If a parking decal costs two hundred plus dollars everyone who purchases one should have a guranteed parking spot. Stop trying to drain students pockets, going to classes at your institution does that enough.
