Animal testing is cruel and ineffective. Over 100 million animals each year undergo animal testing, which normally includes cruel and barbaric procedures, many times without any form of a numbing drug. Also, according to an article by the Baltimore Sun, "90 percent of medications approved for human use after animal testing later proved ineffective or harmful to humans in clinical trials."
