In times like now it becomes crystal clear how well we have prepared for killing but not for living. It is time to stop the insanity of war preparation and use the billions of dollars that would be freed up for the purposes of developing life. We have gone way beyond any reasonable approach to national security. It is time to stop. Life and love require it.

Eliminating nuclear weapons is a hard problem until there is an international agency to enforce disarmament. We do not, however, need to spend a trillion $$ on new ones.
