I was not in favour of paying for Ravensong when it was built, and I am not in favour now

We get no benefit from this facility. Too far to drive to use this facility. Based on usage recorded, less than 4 people per hundred use Ravensong per day. In my opinion the admission fee should be raised to an amount that realistically reflects the cost of operating costs of the pool similar to private pools.

I am definitely and adamantly NOT in favour of increasing my taxes to pay for a pool that I will never use, that I must drive 35 minutes each way, to get to...which is a terrible gas expense, bad for the environment and hard wear on my car .....as well as a waste of my time. It is forcing people to drive on the highway and road system . I pay monthly dues for Fairwinds Wellness Centre which is only 3 minutes drive or walkable for me. It serves my exercise and pool needs. This is the better choice for the environment and less wear on a vehicle ...less danger on the road. It is simply not intelligent to add this pool facility to our Nanoose Bay area. It makes no sense.

Its way too far for us to go! The Nanaimo aquatic centre is closer.

Only 3.9% will use facilities…rediculous that Nanoose be included in this project!!
