PSNI targets car enthusiasts having car meets and going out at nights in Omagh in their cars, police targets car enthusiasts whenever we all just want to enjoy ourselves. We could be out in a ditch on drugs or doing something worse but no the police has to take away everything that we enjoy away.

Seeing what my tax money goes to for them to be targeting the car community, who mostly do nothing wrong non stop while they could be out stopping other crimes instead.

I've seen bigger police presences at car meets/shows than I've seen in the town on Saturday nights, and quite frankly I'd rather hear cars revving and tires screeching at my front door than hearing fighting and having people pissing outside my front door.

This isn't just Omagh as an issue. I have been stopped as a young driver just after passing my test in a standard car only because I had gone to a car meet in Magherafelt. Red flagged my car's in the past as well and given me none stop hassle. Lost a job interview because I was stopped on the way and was made late.

Police are a joke for pulling over modified cars without any reason to do so

This also applies to the PSNI in Newcastle and Downpatrick. The people causing the disturbances are being ignored and those of us who are law abiding targeted. Having spoken with neighbours the PSNI seem to be lacking in authority where it's due and actually working with us as car enthusiasts to bring a peaceful environment for all involved.
