Our amazing teachers are simply asking for fair compensation for their efforts. I know many that purchase school supplies out of their own pocket. All of the teachers with USD have gone above and beyond for our children and deserve a competitive compensation and benefits package. It's time to reward their efforts!

Teacher and administrators should have the same health care coverage and not be treated as second rate. The lack of equity is appalling.

The voter's voice will be heard if the School Board turns a deaf ear to our continued requests to make our teachers "whole".

Our teachers are the foundation and future for our children. They deserve the respect and pay due to them. You hang your distinguished school banner, your gold ribbon school banner, and your honor roll banner. You would not have this without our teachers!!!

My kids went all the way through USD and are now at Leigh High School. I credit my children academic success, in large part, to the AMAZING teachers they had in USD. Do the right thing and pay them what they deserve.

I grew up in the union school district, and I'm proud to still live in it. As a former student and a current teacher, I know the importance of a good education. Allowing teachers to make changes that are needed for the benefit of the staff and especially the students is of utmost importance

I was lucky enough to have Mary Jo Sponseller as my 1st grade teacher and am really excited that my son could have her as well. I hope that the District does their part to keep excellent educators like Mary Jo. Our children and our future depend on it.

Do not repeat the mistakes that crippled San Jose's police force. If the USD Board causes our schools to be degraded through loss of teachers, I will urge the South Bay Labor Council to oppose any current Board member in future elections for ANY office.
