Twitter are arbitrarily banning women for wanting to discuss freely the issues around transgender and self ID. There needs to be a conversation and having this is not hate speech. They are not banning hate speech against feminists.

I have noticed a very clear bias against women expressing their opinions, while trans women seem to be able to say the most hateful things with little repercussion.

It is a disgrace that Twitter attempts to Silence Women. Specifically Feminists. I am a woman. I wouldn’t call myself a feminist. I will however be eternally grateful to each and every single Feminist I have found on Twitter speaking out and up for women. These Feminists, these women have taught me the power of a single dictionary definition. ‘Woman, Adult, Human Female.’ Bravo Feminists. I stand beside you. I stand behind you. I stand where you need me to stand.

Common sense and science, open debate with willingness to listen, logic not slurs please. Let everyone live how they want as long as they don't harm others, which includes not impinging on the rights of women.

I support these women. No one should be banned for stating facts. No one should be banned for disagreeing with an ideology that is blatantly at odds with evidence. No one should be banned because they are a women! Many men who make outrageous comments, even threats, on Twitter are not banned or even suspended. Why does Twitter target women and in particular gender critical women? It has to stop.

It’s fine to ban blatantly hateful people but gender critical philosophy is not about hate. In fact it’s a far kinder philosophy than trans ideology. Please reinstate Meghan Murphy.
