These updates are getting out of hand. I'm a roleplayer and not being able to cut my posts is going to be a real pain in the ass.

i've had enough with all these stupid updates ok, like honestly i've dealt with all of them but thiS? REALLY? it's too much to take away the ability to cut posts, it makes it so much harder for the roleplaying community, artists, writers, and SO MANY users in Tumblr. i don't know what your deal is, but it's fucking stupid. you might as well just take away the option to reblog things? or just take away the ask option completely? seriously tumblr get it together.

Honestly, the last updates were possible to get used though, even though with each one of them tumblr gets harder to navigate instead of easier, but taking away the possibility to cut posts is just horrible. I understand that it keeps artist comments from being deleted, but why make this for EVERY post? At least let people choose.

Many people use the cut post, mainly to cut misinformation from a post or trim a longer post to streamline it for people hard of vision or for clarity. The Roleplaying community also uses this.

Honestly, who wanted this? Did anyone ASK for such a useless update? Tumblr doesn't have the best track record for updates but at least those updates were adaptable. THIS is frustrating.

Either the current staff needs to get their shit together, or they need to be fired and replaced with people who are, y'know, competent.

This update is bothering a lot of people, not just in the rp community. If you keep making all of these unnecessary updates you will lose faithful users of your website seeing that you neglect them the one thing that makes them stay -- a stable and (half) functional website where they can share their thoughts, art, talent and just escape the chaos that their lives can get. So dear Tumblr staff, don't be assholes, don't be stupid and use those grey cells we all know are floating around your brain and see that this update will only make people want to leave tumblr and make your website become MySpace 2.0

Are you serious? No cutting posts? I understand the importance of not deleting artist comments on PHOTOS but these are TEXT POSTS that we're talking about. Your roleplaying community is massive, Tumblr. Change it back.

this update is a menace to any writers or artists on tumblr. please listen to your user feedback. your users are your everything. if the website is more user friendly and convenient to what they ask, then they will be happy. happy users = successful website. it's as simple as that.

honestly this update is so irritating i have been able to deal with all of the previous updates but this doesn't make anything better especially since you can't cut posts, honestly what's next stupid sound effects when you reblog something? or maybe they'll take away the option to send people asks? honestly the way things are going if tumblr doesn't get it together i'm leaving
