This is a petition to Sarasota County Planning Commission and Board:

To disallow the special exemption Florida Towers Partners seeks to allow a commercial 125 foot cell tower on land that is zoned Residential, Single Family (RSF-2/PUD) in Plantation Golf and Country Club

If the 125 foot tower is constructed it will be as close as 600 yards from homes in the Plantation Golf and Country Club. It will dominate the skyline and compromise the natural beauty of the view we have from our homes and golf course. There is a high risk that it will make homes in the area less desireable to buyers and as a consequence lessen their value. There seems to be no compelling reason why the tower could not be located on other commercial proerty instead of among our homes.
