This is a hateful bill. Please spend your time helping provide legislation to provide for the real needs of people in TN- low cost substance abuse services, mental health services, preventative programs for impoverished children, oversight for children in the welfare system.

It's just irresponsible to propose such a law, that IF passed would be deemed unconstitutional. These lawmakers simply want to send a message of hate. They will be left in the dust of more progressive candidates just like most Teabaggers !

As a social worker I find this bill absolutely deplorable. I believe in equal rights for all persons no matter their differences. Any law that points to one particular group of persons as a group not worthy of certain basic respect from his or her fellow man is sickening. Have we not learned from racial segregation laws of our past and the long term ill effects they have had on our society?
