I am disgusted with the turn towards discrimation - whatever the group, it could be anyone. But often with steps forward, are steps back, it will hopefully be the case here and they will not able to pass this bill.

It is so very disheartening to see that bigotry, discrimination and hatred are alive and well in the Tennessee General Assembly. I sincerely hope and pray their constituents are deeply ashamed of these men and take appropriate action in the next election.

Another embarrassment to this state when legislators are elected to do actual work that improves Tennessee.

Why would we want to go back in time almost 50 years? Discrimination is discrimination it needs to end for this state, counrty, world to move forward. Why not just discriminate based on looks alone? This is the most rediculous thing I believe I have heard. I have a gay son and I would not be happy if someone refused to serve him because he is gay and he is with me. That business and any businesses who do this will lose my personal business. This is not what the economy needs...as I stated before why do we want to go backwards? As for you Senator Kelsey and Representative Dunn you better plan your career change because you will not get another vote from me or my son.

Lord have mercy. Fear and prejudice don't need to be immortalized in ridiculous legislation. Look in the mirror and deal with your own stuff!!

Hmm, presumably the Senators are Christians. I have to ask them: what would Christ do?

Don't you have any ACTUAL legislation to work on? No wonder people elsewhere laugh at this silly state.

I wonder how you'd feel if politicians tried to do the same thing that you are trying to do to others.

I'm absolutely dumbstruck to learn that our leaders are proposing legislating discrimination. These little Hitlers need to be voted out of office like yesterday.
