This is ridiculous and absolutely does NOT represent how I want my community to treat other human beings.

Someones sexual preference should not be a reason to deny them service as long as they act appropriate in the store.

this is one stupid law....why did this even get played into action anyway...people need to see that the bible was written by man and man has a tendancy to lie to get what they want....look at all the politicions in washington...in the congress...and in the state...ultimately in the presidency

This would amount to state sanctioned discrimination.

This is against the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I will never, ever support a law or a legislator who perverts the scripture into a vessel of evil and hate.

This is the pre-Civil Rights era South all over again. If this legislation proposed '"no blacks at the lunch counter," this legislator would be vilified and recalled. Do you not see the parallels? Racists used the Christian Bible to support their stand, too. Same bigotry, different decade. This is an affront to human dignity and an embarrassment to Tennessee. Shame in this legislature (again).

Yeah, because "religious beliefs" sounds better than, "I'm a judgmental bigot"!!! Please!

With all the hate in the world, can't we stop fighting against love? There are so many good people that have done amazing things for this world who just happen to be gay. Who cares? Can't we just respect everybody's differences?
