All of the sponsors should be ashamed but particularly Senator Kelsey. He represents parts of Memphis, not just Germantown, and Memphians need to realize this. As an attorney, he should know better.

I support the radical notion that all Americans (whether they reside in Southern California or rural Tennessee) deserve to be treated equally, regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation. I am ashamed that this is what two elected officials are wasting their time on.
