It’s difficult enough to pay these high taxes already, don’t tell me it’s not coming out of the taxpayers pockets because like the restaurant tax that was “temporary” it will likely impact Douglas County residence sooner or later. We are not Chicago, LA or New York. You all make it hard to retire in Nebraska let alone raise a family!

Stop all this crazy spending all you are going to do is push people out of Omaha. The taxes are too damn high in this town all ready and people are tired of getting taxed and pulled so thin with the cost of every day life now we don’t need this.

This is way too expensive of a project to only be available in such a small area for such a small population of Omaha residents. I would rather this money go to fix our sorry excuse for roads that are riddled with potholes and to fund additional bus routes instead. If this streetcar spanned the entire city then it would be worth it, however comparing the cost of this small path it would bankrupt the city and residents to pay for. Please STOP this ridiculous idea of a streetcar. The majority of people in Omaha do NOT want this!!!

Quit wasting our taxes. Fix the current roads & stop using Brine. Brine is the largest contributor to pavement decay & vehicle rust since they started using it.

Who would use this street car? I would not drive to Midtown Crossing from West Omaha to ride the street car. It's a waste of money!

This is the stupidest idea the city has come up with to date. It only serves a small area of town and the cost is ridiculous. These ideas are the reason the state of Nebraska is losing people. When you have council members coming up with ways to spend money on idiot ideas. Next time around vote these idiots out! Quit voting for stupid people that all they want to do is spend more money and not fix what’s already in place first like the roads!
