I'm not from Omaha so I don't need to fund this. If Omaha wants it, Omaha can pay for it.

The last thing that Omaha needs is a street car, when we can't even do a good job to maintain the streets in town . Total waste of taxpayers dollars. Ridership will never be able to cover the costs involved so the ultimate burden will rest on the taxpayers of Omaha and the State of Nebraska

Other cities who have street cars have 4x the population we have. Stop this insane project that will benefit only a few Fix our streets & roads. Use our wheel tax to make the “whole” city prosper. Not just downtown & midtown.

Does the mayor actually think citizens that live west of 50th St. are going to drive to midtown park their car walk to the streetcar then go downt town with 20+ stops. It won't happen.
