No additional taxes...I've already seen the increase going to this mutual of Omaha shakedown. And mutual of Omaha employees don't want to go back in the office so their deluxe ivory tower will be empty.

There's money being exchanged at the upper levels for this legacy-building project that will benefit a politician, and a huge corporation but only a small select segment of the community at large. The money is better spent on repairing existing infrastructure and public transit for underserved neighborhoods so people can actually get to places like jobs and shopping.

There are numerous empty buses available to run the same route. Like the ones going back and forth on Dodge Street.

Let's focus on getting public transportation to areas like 48th and McKinley where it would benefit businesses in desperate need of labor and low income workers that don't have the transportation resources to take advantage of their open positions. Current lack of service to this woefully underserved area makes the streetcar seem particularly frivolous.
